Jerry Alford established his solo practice, with an emphasis on representing disabled workers, from the time he opened in 1985. Jerry obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Charleston in 1979. Further studies at West Virginia University resulted in a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1985.
After law school, Attorney Jerry Alford founded his law practice in Alum Creek, West Virginia. He began representing disabled workers before the West Virginia Consolidated Retirement Board, the West Virginia Workers' Compensation Carriers, and the Social Security Administration. His advocacy efforts on behalf of disabled clients continue to this day.
In addition, Jerry Alford's practice covers the areas of personal injury and accident claims throughout West Virginia.
Mr. Alford is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives (NOSSCR), and is an active member of the West Virginia State Bar.
